Campus Case Competition
Looking to Gain Some Real-World Experience?
As an upcoming college graduate, you are most likely looking to join the working world soon. There is no better way to gain insight to a full-time job than participating in The Hartford's annual Campus Case Competition!
The Hartford’s annual Campus Case Competition will allow you and a group to research, analyze, and present your findings on a business issue. This is a hands-on and fast-paced experience that is a great resume differentiator!
The Campus Case Competition will be held during the 2013 Spring Semester. Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors are encouraged to participate. Each team will be assigned a mentor from The Hartford to assist them along the way. At the conclusion, teams will make a presentation to a panel of judges consisting of senior leaders from The Hartford.
What's in it for you? You will have the opportunity to:
- Work with other students, faculty, and professionals in an experiential learning opportunity

This past Spring, The Hartford held its 2nd annual Campus Case Competition at Bentley University, Boston University, Bryant University, and University of Connecticut. This year we’re expanding to even more schools. Between the four schools, approximately one hundred and forty students participated! One participant from the University of Connecticut, Michael Keller, said the following of his experience:
"The Hartford’s Campus Case Competition provided a superb opportunity to learn how to analyze and respond to the technology and infrastructure needs of a Fortune 500 company. The experience was fast-paced, offered the ability to collaborate with leaders at The Hartford, and presented a problem that mirrored a real life business issue. The Campus Case Competition helped broaden my view of the ever-expanding needs of today’s leading companies and has introduced me to the types of expectations in the workplace.
