We Partner With Contingency & Retained Search Firms

As appropriate, The Hartford partners with highly qualified contingency and retained search firms, and recruitment agencies to assist in our staffing needs and in identifying top talent in the marketplace. To support contingency search efforts, The Hartford has partnered with BountyJobs. Retained search is managed through our Staffing Agency Management Program.
 
The Hartford considers firms on a national level. However, we may pursue firms in certain disciplines on a local, regional and international level. This approach covers all lines of business within The Hartford, including Group Benefits, Mutual Funds and Property & Casualty. Firms are evaluated annually in each of the following areas:
 
  • Knowledge of Industry
  • Understanding of Requirements
  • Quality and Diversity of Candidates
  • Responsiveness
  • Value Proposition of Firm
  • Ethics/Integrity

We Look for These Features:

  • Single Point of Contact
  • Standardized Fees
  • Non-solicitation of The Hartford Employees
  • Annual Performance Evaluation

The Hartford does not accept non-solicitation of candidates from firms that are not a part of our selected vendors list.
